ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Richard Quinn has spent the last 14 years photographing in and around Ventura County for the Ventura County Star and as a freelance photographer. Before that, he was the photographer at the Tahoe World in Tahoe City, CA. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in journalism in 1991.He left the Star in 2006 to be a full-time dad to his two sons, who are also his muses.
Because of his photojournalism experience, he is well suited for all kinds of photography. He's able to walk in to any situation, and come away with memorable images.
